A friend of mine, N. was reported to her elementary school principal for witchcraft.
She was an observant girl and when she noticed the change in the wind, the temperature, the smells, she know that rain is coming. She was also a bit naughty and she told her classmates that she is a witch and she’s gonna conjure rain. When it happened, they went and reported her to the principal.
This story illustrates well what witchcraft is in my interpretation. Mindfulness and observance, with some added stories, rituals and aesthetic for spice for spice.
