Many look down on fanfiction and fanart, and don’t see them as real art. In my opinion, it’s a wrong way to look at it.

Just think about it for a moment: what would be left of western art, music, literature, theatre, architecture and culture, if we would take away all the Bible and greek mythology fanfiction and fanart?

We (at least we in the West) couldn’t recognise the past and present around us in a world where we take away just these.
